HURRICANE HELENE RELIEF EFFORT

As our community is recovering from the challenges of Helene, we’ve all been made aware of the immense suffering throughout the southeast. Our Missions Director, Ken Broadway, has been in touch with workers on the front lines of disaster relief in Steinhatchee and Cedar Key. The needs are enormous. We are helping by providing much needed supplies. Some immediate needs are totes (for residents to gather the few belongings that remain after the storm) and pitchforks for going through debris.
The totes are available in Gainesville at the Home Depot for approximately $10. 1,000 totes are needed.

Also needed our 55 gallon black trash bags. The totes and trash bags can be dropped off at the church during normal business hours.
