DAY 7 – SEPT 22
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7
Choosing love over fear is a courageous step in our faith journey. When we focus on loving others, we shift the focus away from ourselves and our fears. This choice allows us to experience genuine, loving relationships without fear of rejection. In Christ, we find a love that surpasses all understanding, a love that is not contingent on our performance or perfection. As we grow in this love, our insecurities and self-doubts fade, and we discover a newfound freedom to love others and ourselves.
We Pray: Father God, we thank You for the perfect love that casts out all fear. We ask for Your grace to choose love over fear, even when it’s difficult to let others in. Help us to trust in Your unfailing love and to find our worth in You alone. Give us the courage to embrace intimacy with You and others, knowing that Your love for us is unchanging and secure. Lord, heal our insecurities and teach us to love without fear, reflecting the love of Christ in all our relationships. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
