DAY 6 – SEPT 21
You rule over the surging sea; when its waves mount up, you still them. Psalm 89:9
We find comfort and peace in Christ’s presence in life’s inevitable storms. He is the one who quiets the raging winds and calms the turbulent seas within our hearts. No storm is too fierce for His power, and when chaos threatens to overwhelm us, Christ steps in to command the winds to cease. Through spending quality time with Him in prayer and meditation, we learn to embrace the calm He offers. Being with Christ daily makes us accustomed to His peace, allowing Him to still the storms and bring tranquility to our lives.
We Pray: Father God, we thank You for being our refuge in the storms of life. We praise You for Your power to calm the raging winds and turbulent seas that threaten to overwhelm us. Help us to trust in Your presence, knowing that no storm can withstand Your mighty command. Teach us to find comfort and peace in You, even when chaos surrounds us. Lord, guide us to spend quiet time with You daily, embracing the calm only You can provide. May we always remember that we find true rest and assurance in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
