DAY 46 – OCT 31
. . . and take the helmet of salvation.
Ephesians 6:17a.
Much like the breastplate protects the heart, the helmet protects the head. The enemy speaks lies to us that try to drive an intellectual wedge between us and God. But we know that nothing can separate us from the love of God through Christ (Romans 8:39). Our salvation is assured when we put our faith in Jesus as our Lord and Savior. God goes before us, and He promises to never leave or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:8).
We Pray: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the confidence that our salvation has been bought by the precious blood of Christ. Our minds are a battlefield, but You will transform us by the renewal of our minds (Romans 12:2). We strap on our helmets daily to protect us from the onslaught of the enemy, but victory is assured in Jesus’ name. Amen.
