DAY 2 – SEPT 17
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Galatians 5:1
In Christ, we find true freedom through love and obedience to God. The world often views God’s commands as restrictive, but they are a path to liberation from the chains of sin. Loving and forgiving even the most difficult people, as God commands, is not for their benefit alone but for our healing and growth. This obedience brings us closer to God, freeing us from bitterness and unforgiveness. Following Christ is not about obligation but about love—a love that leads to genuine freedom and peace, far beyond the false promises of worldly pleasures.
We Pray: Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking to obey Your commands of love and forgiveness. We recognize that You call us to love others, even when it’s difficult, and to forgive those who have wronged us, just as You have forgiven us. Lord, help us to understand that Your commands are given out of love for us and are meant to lead us to true freedom in Christ. Empower us by Your Spirit to love genuinely, forgive completely, and live obediently according to Your will. May we experience the freedom of being Your servants and walking in Your truth. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
