Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

As we begin our 50 days of prayer, we enter in a posture of praise, thanksgiving, and need. We will explore freedom, recovery, spiritual warfare, and victory in Jesus as we walk the Way of Jesus from now until November 5. The first step in our devotional focuses on prayer. We encourage you to start each day in earnest prayer for the church, our brothers and sisters throughout the world, our coworkers and family, and especially our nation in these tumultuous times.
We Pray: Heavenly Father, we begin our period of fasting and prayer with grateful hearts for what You have done, and expectant hearts for what only You can do. Gives us a heart for others like You have (John 3:16) so we can be a light that shines Your glory like heaven on earth. We pray for this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
