Reignite Our Faith
Ephesians 3:16-17
That according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
These verses touch on several aspects of our faith journey. The riches of his glory are so much greater than anything the world has to offer. We can find true strength through his power as given through the Holy Spirit. Finally, there is a direct connection between our love for Christ and our faith in him. When we contemplate all that God has done for us, in faith our response is to worship our loving Creator!
We pray: Jesus, how we long for our faith to be strengthened! Help us to not let the trinkets of this world distract us from the true riches you offer. We can easily let the things of this earth take a place in our hearts that belongs only to you. We pray this in your powerful name, Amen.
