Reignite Our Mission
Revelation 7:9-10
After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
This is the mission of God: that every tribe, tongue, people, and language be before His throne. As his followers, we cannot ignore His longing for the Kingdom of Heaven to be revealed, not solely by Jesus’ own life and ministry, but also through those of us here on earth who faithfully share this Good News. Our mission is his mission – to make disciples who make disciples.
We pray: Father how we look forward to this celebration in Heaven! People from every tribe and tongue worshiping you! We pray that we will faithfully be on mission for your kingdom so that all have a chance to hear your name. We know that you love the entire world and because of this sent Jesus so all would live forever (John 3:16). Help us to hold onto this truth as we share your love to those around us. Amen.
