Reignite Our Mission
Matthew 28:20 (b)
“And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
We can sometimes forget this part of the Great Commission. As we go about “doing,” we forget about “being” in Jesus’s presence. His promise to be with us always should not be taken lightly. When we have victory in his name, he is there. When we are discouraged, he is there. When we are surrounded, he is there. Let’s not forget that in the good times (where pride can take hold) or the bad (when we feel alone). He is always with us!
We pray: Jesus, we can be confident in your promises. You will never leave us, and this gives us great comfort. We can do all things through you who gives us strength (Philippians 4:13). Help us remember this truth in your name as we accomplish your purposes on earth, Amen.
