Reignite Our Faith
2 Corinthians 5:7
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
In the modern world we live in, we judge our circumstances by empirical evidence (If I don’t see it, I don’t believe it!). This can cause us to lose our eternal perspective, and only worry about what is right in front of our noses. When we walk by faith, we attempt to see the world through God’s eyes. Every person is someone Jesus died for, and we need strong faith to engage the world with the Good News of the Gospel.
We Pray: Heavenly Father, help us to see the world as you see it. Our lives are not an accident of happenstance. You have a plan for us, and through faith in you we can discern this plan amidst the distractions and attacks of our enemy. Open the eyes of our hearts (Ephesians 1:18). In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
