Reignite Our Vision
Psalm 5:3
In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.
As we look to Reignite our Vision, we begin in the Book of Psalms. David gives us a clear example of how to seek God’s vision for our lives. First, we begin by praying earnestly for God to hear our voice. However, this is not a one-way conversation. After laying our requests before God, we wait expectantly for his response. Too many times we seek our own vision for success without waiting for God to lead us.
We pray: God, we seek your vision for our lives today. Waiting and listening aren’t always in our nature, so grant us patience when needed, and resolve to act when you lead us. We pray this in Jesus’s name, Amen.
