Reignite Our Passion
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Many of us have heard this verse so many times that it is easy to overlook its power. God loves the ENTIRE world (everyone) so he gives himself freely for our salvation. His passion for us can’t be ignored as we praise him in thanksgiving for this amazing gift.
We pray: God, don’t let us miss the importance of this short statement. Your love for us can’t be measured in human terms. Help our passion to rise as we attempt to love others due to your love for us. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
