CityLight Church is committed to fostering true spiritual growth by creating a culture of community. We believe lives are changed by building and empowering leaders to use the skills that God has given us. We believe that CityGroups offer such an opportunity. Not only do we meet to grow as individuals, but also to be a people of mission in our city.

When you join a CityGroup, you’ll have:

  • The opportunity to connect with others and grow friendships
  • The opportunity to apply Biblical principles and topics to your life
  • The opportunity to serve our city through our Community Outreach Events

    Where do CityGroups meet?

    CityGroups meet in various locations in Gainesville, in homes and at CityLight. You can check out the directory for more specific locations.

    What happens at a CityGroup?

    CityGroups offer a chance to do life together while deepening our faith. Every CityGroup is different, yet still offers the same key components: fellowship with others, discussion around the Sunday message or a bible study, prayer, and the opportunity to serve our community.

    How long do CityGroups meet?

    CityGroups are broken up in semesters. Our fall semester begins in September and runs through November. Our Spring semester begins at the end of January and runs through May. Most groups break for the summer.

    Our Citygroup director will contact you soon!  Make sure you check the email you used to sign up, and we look forward to placing you in a group soon.
